Equips every generation with the knowledge and spiritual foundation needed to live according to Christian principles. The Dance Ministry uses the art of dance and movement to exalt the Lord, inspire worship, and enrich the hearts and souls of the congregation. Men, women, and children are welcome to use their gifts and talents to glorify God through dance.

The Deacons Ministry at FBCNB serves as a spiritual and ministry support to the pastor, congregation, and community, helping to meet the needs of members and advance the mission of the church. Deacons are selected by the Pastor and approved by the congregation to serve as faithful leaders, servants, and representatives of the church.

The Drama Ministry uses the theatrical arts—including scriptwriting, acting, directing, and set and costume design—to bring the teachings of Christ to life and communicate the Gospel in creative and meaningful ways.

The Education Ministry empowers young people to pursue academic excellence, higher education, and fruitful careers by providing scholarships, educational resources, and opportunities for growth and development.

F²W² is the FBCNB connection for young adults ages 21–39, bringing together Food, Fellowship, Worship, and the Word. It is designed to help young adults level up their faith, build authentic relationships, and grow in their knowledge and application of God’s Word.

The Health Ministry glorifies God by promoting healthy living, wellness, and whole-person care through health education and supportive services for the congregation and community. The ministry also provides health assistance during worship services to help promote the well-being of all who gather.

The Holiday Sharing Ministry spreads joy, hope, and the love of Christ by providing Christmas gifts to families and individuals in need. Through the generosity of the FBCNB family, the ministry helps make the holiday season brighter for those in our church and community.

The Host and Hostess Ministry helps ensure that worship services are conducted with warmth, excellence, and order while creating a welcoming and inviting atmosphere for everyone who enters the sanctuary. Through hospitality and attentive service, the ministry helps each worshiper feel valued, welcomed, and prepared to experience God’s presence.

The Marriage Ministry supports engaged and married couples by providing events, resources, and opportunities that strengthen love, communication, fellowship, and spiritual growth. The ministry encourages couples to build healthy, Christ-centered marriages that thrive and honor God.

The Mature Adults Ministry supports adults ages 60 and older through educational, social, and service opportunities that promote healthy living, safety, fellowship, and emotional well-being. The ministry also provides resources and support that encourage seniors to remain connected, active, and engaged in the church and community.

The Media Ministry uses technology, creativity, and communications to capture, produce, share, and promote the Gospel and the life of FBCNB across worship experiences and ministry activities. Through Audio/Visual, Lighting, Marketing, Photography, Social Media, Sound, Titles & Graphics, and Web, the ministry seeks to educate, encourage, and empower people to engage in a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.

Helps to create a better environment for others, create healthier communities, spread love and show Christ through service.

The Music Ministry uses the gift of music to teach God’s Word, lead the congregation in worship, and glorify God through the voices and talents of children, youth, and adult choirs. Through worship, praise, adoration, and meditation, the ministry seeks to create an atmosphere where hearts are drawn closer to God.

The Special Events Ministry plans, coordinates, and oversees social, fellowship, and outreach experiences that bring the FBCNB family and community together. Through meaningful and engaging events, the ministry strengthens relationships, builds community, and creates opportunities to share the love of Christ.

The Trustee Ministry at FBCNB provides faithful stewardship and oversight of the church’s financial, property, and business affairs, helping ensure that the resources entrusted to the church are managed responsibly and in support of its mission. Trustees are selected by the Pastor and approved by the congregation to serve with integrity, accountability, and a spirit of Christian stewardship.

United Men creates opportunities for men to build meaningful relationships, strengthen their faith, and grow together in Christ, while fostering reconciliation with God, their families, and one another. The ministry encourages men to live with purpose, integrity, and brotherhood as they seek to honor God in every area of life.

The Women’s Ministry creates opportunities for women to deepen their relationship with God, discover their purpose, build meaningful connections, and grow together in faith. Through fellowship, encouragement, and service, the ministry empowers women to share God’s love and serve one another and the community.

You’re Never Alone provides prayer, compassionate support, and helpful resources to individuals and families experiencing grief after the loss of a loved one. The ministry walks alongside those who are grieving, offering encouragement, connection, and access to professional services when needed.

Young L.I.F.E. nurtures the spiritual growth of children and youth ages 2–18 through age-appropriate Bible study, worship, fellowship, and Christian learning on the second and fourth Sundays, September through June, during the 9:45 AM worship service. Check-in and a continental breakfast begin at 9:15 AM, with programming held in a secure area of the church.

Young ‘N Powerful (Youth Ministry) serves youth ages 11–18 by nurturing their faith, developing their gifts, and providing opportunities for community outreach and fellowship. For more than four decades, youth have led Fifth Sunday Youth Worship Services, through preaching, the youth choir, and prayer. These experiences encourage them live for Christ, serve others, and glorify God.
